Brandin was studying mathematics at Virginia Tech when he first became interested in film and filmmaking. After graduating he attended Emerson College where he began to create his early films. While at Emerson College he was able to obtain a spot as an extra in the Oscar winning film 'The Departed.' He continues to work on several of his own projects that will be released on this site and local festivals.

In addition to his individual work, Brandin works with several Boston area filmmakers on various projects.

Brandin is also a writer for the Lonely Reviewer, an online site started in 2008 to provide news and reviews involving several entertainment platforms.
